Generous grants keep BASICS on the road in Dorset

Like many charities, we've been feeling the prolonged effects of the pandemic most acutely in our finances. Thankfully a local foundation and a national appeal have helped keep our responders out saving lives in Dorset.

Earlier this year, we were fortunate to receive a generous donation from the Alice Ellen Cooper Dean Charitable Foundation. These vital funds have meant we can continue to support South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust by providing enhanced care to patients within Dorset. The Alice Ellen Cooper Dean Charitable Foundation is legacy from one of the founding families of Bournemouth, who intended it use to benefit the local people. Over half our callouts to date have been around Bournemouth town and its popular tourist beaches.

In December we also gratefully allocated funding from from the national HELP appeal via the British Association of Immediate Care previously. Thank you Help Appeal - County Air Ambulance Trust for your support of BASICS charities across the country!
